Dr. Tracee L. Watts is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in fundraising, government relations, student success, and higher education administration. As the Sr. Vice President of Student Success and Advancement at Brazosport College, she has successfully led strategic initiatives in enrollment management, donor relations, and organizational leadership. With a proven track record in problem-solving and strategic planning, Dr. Watts has cultivated strong partnerships, secured major gifts, and advanced student success programs through innovative and resourceful management.
Her career spans leadership roles in college advancement, development, and government relations, where she has built strong connections with elected officials, donors, and community stakeholders. Before joining Brazosport College, she served as Program Director/Director of Development at the BACH Rehabilitation Center and as a District Scheduler & Caseworker for the U.S. House of Representatives. She is an active advocate for community colleges, serving on the Texas Association of Community College Foundations Board and the Government Relations Advocacy Team for Texas Community Colleges.
Dr. Watts holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on Community College Leadership from Kansas State University, a Master of Organizational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Government from Evangel University. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) issued by CFRE International. She has been recognized for her leadership as a “Leader Under 40” honoree and remains deeply engaged in professional and community organizations. Passionate about student success and institutional advancement, Dr. Watts continues to drive impactful initiatives that enhance educational opportunities and community engagement.
