Marcos Contreras is an experienced database management and reporting professional with a strong background in advancement services. With over 18 years of experience in higher education institutions, he has developed expertise in data integrity, reporting, and donor management systems, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
Currently serving as the Advancement Services Database and Reporting Manager at Alamo Colleges Foundation, Marcos ensures data consistency and integrity across Blackbaud solutions, streamlining data processes and enhancing reporting capabilities. He has successfully reduced data errors, improved reporting efficiency, and delivered actionable insights to key stakeholders.
Prior to this, Marcos held leadership roles at Trinity University, where he managed advancement databases, developed custom reports, and collaborated with different teams to enhance data accuracy. His work experience also includes over a decade at The University of the Incarnate Word, where he specialized in stewardship, gift processing, and financial reporting.
Marcos holds an MBA in Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University, an MA in Communication Arts, and a BA in Communication Arts from University of the Incarnate Word.
