The TACCF Annual Conference has grown tremendously since it was introduced in 2016 with 44 attendees and $31,500 in sponsorships. In 2026, we are thrilled to have increased participation by 234% with 147 registrants, along with $62,000 in generous sponsorships. This growth shows that our community college colleagues are more eager than ever to learn and grow in support of students, and that our corporate and community partners place extremely high value on the work we do for Texas community colleges.

What made this year’s Conference so special? Just a few items, including:

• Inspirational presentations by keynote speaker Jan Johnson, a Baldridge-based, national and international expert on performance excellence, and Nathan Chappell, a globally recognized AI inventor and best-selling author.

• Eight general sessions presented by a variety of subject matter experts, including TACCF peers and industry consultants covering topics ranging from investments, workforce education support, philanthropic culture, impactful CASE survey information, storytelling, and more.

• A total of 16 Roundtables over two mornings, facilitated by our TACCF peers and industry experts, covering a multitude of topics including campaign strategies, career growth, nonprofit boards, scholarship management, alumni, endowment management, navigating leadership partnerships, and more.

• 16 generous sponsors from  a variety of fundraising-related industries, including our tenth year of support from Texas Pioneer Foundation which provided scholarships for attendees and other Conference support, along with in-kind CE credit support from CFRE.

• A reception hosted by Institutional Sponsor Alamo Colleges Foundation in the Scobee Education Center, where attendees enjoyed delicious fiesta-style fare, checking out the amazing planetarium, and a tour of their impressive Advocacy Center.

• Fun networking and social activities, including cocktail receptions, dinners, and a visit to Hopscotch, an immersive art experience.

• THE MOST AMAZING Conference Committee  who gave an endless amount of time, talent, and expertise – and had a lot of fun doing it!
