2021 Conference Proposal Submission
Look Forward to the Future
We are looking for proposals on the following topics:
TACCF 2021 Conference Topics
- Basic/Emergency Needs for Students-An exploration of the types of services offered to students to assist with barriers that hinder their education, especially in crises
- Fundraising Innovation-Creative and innovative ideas for fundraising opportunities
- Leading Beyond COVID-19-A panel (up to 3 presenters) discussion on how our institutions are adjusting to the new normal of how your college is adjusting to a virtual world
- Partnering for a Better Future-A panel (up to 3 presenters) discussion with partners of how we can create a better future for our community colleges (leadership, board members, fundraising, grants, sponsorships, etc.)
- Using Social Media to Fundraise-Presentation on best practices utilizing all platforms of social media
- Diversity in Giving/ Diversity Voice-A panel (up to 3 presenters) discussion on how you develop a pipeline for finding diversity voices and reaching multi-cultures/minority groups by engaging them in your foundation activities
In addition to the pre-conference, opening, and closing sessions, the conference committee is seeking to fill six (6) sessions.
Prior to submitting a session proposal, please read these important guidelines:
The deadline for submission of proposals is Tuesday, December 1, 2020, by 5:00 p.m.
- All conference presentations are one hour in length. Please allow sufficient time in your planning for Q&A and audience participation.
- All sessions will be held during the annual conference, February 3-5, 2021, which will be virtual this year.
- Educational or corporate partners, consultants or other presenters not employed at an educational institution are welcome. However, it is preferred they co-present with an institutional partner and presentations must be informational in nature, not an overview of what the company offers.
